Chief Executive Officer, Founder – Started HCA in 1994
Ms. Hoff is the founder of Healthcare Academy and has 30 years of clinical and education experience. She has held key positions including manager of sales training for Pfizer, Inc./Schneider (USA), Director of Training and Development for RedLine Healthcare and Director of Education for St. Francis Regional Medical Center. Ms. Hoff received her diploma in nursing from the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing, a BSN from Mankato State University and an MA in Human and Health Services Administration from Winona State University. She is a past president of the American Hospital Association (AHA)-affiliated American Society of Healthcare Education Training. Her additional training includes the CMS MDS 3.0 launch training programs, as well as seminars in MDS 3.0.
President – Started with HCA in 1994
As President of Healthcare Academy, Mr. Hoff's primary responsibilities include operations, finance and technology management. His vast experience includes five years as a technical writer for Cray Research, plus additional independent technological consultation. He has held several positions in manufacturing environments including customer service, quality assurance, production management and engineering documentation. Mr. Hoff holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Mankato State University and a certificate in Electronic Technology from the Mankato Area Vocational/Technical College.
Director of Operations – Started with HCA 2002
Ms. Moonen is Director of Operations and joined Healthcare Academy in 2002 as an Account Manager. Ms. Moonen worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative before joining Healthcare Academy, calling on physicians and nurses in a variety of medical practices. Erin has attained a BS Degree in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota.
Training Coordinator – Started with HCA 2003
Ms. Braun is the Training Specialist and has been a critical team member at Healthcare Academy since 2003. Before joining HCA, she spent 19 years at ADC Telecommunications, a Fortune 500 company, as a team leader and purchaser for outside vendors. Ms. Braun coordinates CE approval, provides customer service, implements and trains HCA accounts and manages the development details of HCA's training programs.
Lesson Developer – Started with HCA in 2006
Ms. Boock is the lesson developer and has been creating lessons for Healthcare Academy since 2006. Her primary responsibilities are to develop lessons, create graphics, and integrate audio. Along with creating lessons, she also updates lessons to provide customers with the best possible end product. Ms. Boock received both an AAS Web Design Degree and an AAS Multimedia Degree from Ridgewater College in 2005.
